canada has been transformed over the past century or two, for better and worse. What do we make of the landscape and society that has evolved from the geography of a few generations ago?
Many structures still standing across this country were built by settlers on undisturbed land they believed to be their own. As these ‘first builds’ are being torn down and replaced by whatever people think is important now, the right to the land is being questioned and diverse voices are challenging decisions about what will come next. The built environment may be altered but cannot be erased nor can the effects its’ making has had on our planet.
